Broad-Spectrum Cephalosporin Antibiotic

Acicef-3 Vet is a potent injectable antibiotic containing Ceftriaxone (500mg). As a third-generation cephalosporin, it provides high efficacy against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens in both livestock and companion animals.

Clinical Indications

Acicef-3 Vet is indicated for the treatment of severe bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory Tract: Bronchopneumonia and shipping fever.

• Urogenital Tract: Cystitis, pyelonephritis, and metritis.

• Soft Tissue & Skin: Abscesses, infected wounds, and post-surgical prophylaxis.

• Systemic Infections: Sepsis, joint-ill, and meningitis.

• Gastrointestinal: Bacterial enteritis and peritonitis.

Administration & Dosage

• Routes: Deep Intramuscular (IM) or slow Intravenous (IV) injection.

• Dosage: Species-dependent. Standard dosing is typically calculated based on body weight (mg/kg).
